Hopefully the app will improve over time. And there are multiple settings for your individual needs. All that said, I have found this camera to be very useful, especially when someone knocks on my door. I know that's minor but it's annoying and unnecessary. And just a pet peeve of mine, any time you save or delete a video, there's an extra step to hit "OK". My biggest complaint is you can only zoom in on live video and NOT on previous videos, which is when you would need it most. Camera provides 1080 resolution with good color. I set up using no tools, only folded pieces of paper to level, as you would put folded paper under a short table leg. I would give app 1 star but camera 4 stars, so that's how I ended with 3 stars.
